For this project, I had to pick a snippet of a song (that has words) and effectively make a 20 to 30-second music video for it comprised of mostly type. Other visuals were allowed, but had to be very limited.
Since I was in a big Bill Wurtz mood at the time (arguably still am, to a degree), I wanted to tackle his surreal, rather psychedelic, video style. Not all of his songs have music videos, so I narrowed my options down to ones that lacked any.
The song "rabbit snakes" in particular spoke to me on a very deep level, back when I was mentally in a constant panic about where I stood, what I've been doing and how I've been doing it, feeling trapped and wanting to break free from the monotony and pain I had lived with for a couple years.
The "MIRROR" scene didn't quite go as planned, cuz if we know Adobe, even with endless troubleshooting, something just won't work right.
If the embedded video doesn't work, you can view it here on Vimeo.
